‘’Quotes & Sales Order’’
Firstly we will setup a new company and receive different option on the tab of this window we select the option ‘’Tasks’’ from this window which is display:

From this window we will select Quotes/Sales Order than this window is display:


First we will select Quotes than this window will appear:

In this we will put information in this window
·        Customer Id,
·         select date,
·         Quote No,
·        Quantity
·        Select Item
·        Description &
·        Amount
After that we will save all information.


Now we will select Sales order than that widow will appear:




 In this window we will put customer Id, Select Date, SO No, put quantity, select Item, description and Amount.


‘’How to Set Up a New Company’’
Firstly we will press Start and received many options we select Peachtree software from those this window will appear:


After selecting peachtree software we will receive these options we select Set Up a New Company than that window will display:

We will receive this window in this the introduction about the company is given than we will click on button Next this window will appear:

In this window we will put the Company Name, Address, City, Country and Tele No etc and press Next button that window is display:

In this window we will receive Setup options we select Build your own company and click on Next this window is received;

By clicking next we will receive 2 Accounting Methods:
v Accrual Method
v Cash Method
We will select Accrual Method than click on Next this window will appear:



In this window we will receive 2 Posting Method:
Ø Real Time
Ø Batch Method
We select Real time and press next that window will display:



By pressing next the Accounting Periods are received we will select 12 monthly accounting period and click on next this window appear:


In this window we will select Fiscal year, First month for entering data and First year and click on next this window is received:



We will press Finish in this window than that window is display:

‘’How to Maintain Credit Memos’’?
We will setup a new company and received a new in this window we have many options on there tab we will select ‘’Tasks’’ from the Tab than this window will appear:

We will receive many options after selecting tasks we click on Credit Memos on these options that window will display:

In this window we will enter:
§  Customer Id
§  Select Date
§  Credit No.
In that tab which is display there:

After that we will give Customer OP, Terms, Sales Rep, and Return Authorization in this place:

In last we will enter Quantity, Item, Description, Unit price, and Total Amount in that window:




‘’How To Assemble Inventory’’
Firstly we will setup a new company and we will receive that window:


In this window we will receive many options in the ‘’Tab’’ and we will select the option of ‘’Tasks’’ than that window will appear:

After clicking on tasks we will have these options and we will select the option of ‘’Assemblies’’ this window will display:

In this window we will give put the requirements about:
Ø We will give Reference,
Ø Select Date,
Ø Put Item Id,
Ø Than we write the Name,
Ø Write Quantity On-Hand,
Ø How much Quantity to Build,
Ø New Quantity, &
Ø Write Reason To Build.

Inventory Items:-
We will open Peachtree accounting and set up a new company and make chart of accounts. Inventory item is our Subsidiary ledgers.
Than this window will appear:


Now we will make Inventory items. We will use Inventory Item option in maintain menu. After this we click on Maintain this window will display:

We will click on Inventory Item than we will receive many in formation about inventory item this window will receive:

Now we will put information about inventory item in Header field and Tabs: Item Id and Description in this which is display:

We will enter Item id and Description. There is also a Lookup button to see previous record about inventory item and there is also back and next button. The Item class is Stock Item.
We will click on General Tab that window will display:

In this we will enter these information about inventory item which is displayed in general tab. We will enter price level and we will select 10 price level.


After that next information about Tan item type. Tax type is irrelevant in Pakistan. This will appear:

Now we will enter Last unit cost and select Cost Method: LIFO, FIFO and Average. That window will display:

  
After this we will enter: UCP/SKU, Item Type, Location, Unit/ Measure and Weight in this window:

 Now we will enter GL Sales a/c, GL Inventory a/c, and GL Cost of Sale account. In this window we will enter:


After at last we will enter minimum stock, reorder quantity, preferred vendor id, buyer id and Beginning balances in this window:

‘’Global Options’’
Firstly we will setup a new company and received many options in the Tab of the window we will select ‘’Options’’ from this:


From this window we will Select the option of ‘’Global’’ than that window will appear:


In this window we will select Number of Decimal from 1to 4, Hide GL Account and many Other Options than press Ok. After that we click on General than that window will display:


In this window we will select Improve Performance, Line Item Entry Display, Small Data Entry and Color Scheme after selecting press Ok. After that we will click on Peachtree Partners than this window will appear:


In this we will select the Peachtree Partners Security Levels. There are three main levels are given below:
v Low
v Medium
v High
We select one of these options usually Medium Level is selected and pres Ok. Than we will click on Spelling that window is display:



In this we check Peachtree spell and spell check option. In spell check option we will select Check spelling as you type, Suggestion speed & accuracy, Running options and Main Dictionary Language than press Ok.




‘’General Journal Entry’’
We will setup a new company and received many options in Tab of the window. We will select the option of tasks this window will appear:


 After selecting the option of tasks we will select ‘’General Journal Entry’’ from these options than that window will display:


 Firstly we will select the Date and put the Reference in these tabs:

Than we select GL Account, write Description, Debit Amount and Credit Amount in this place:

How To Make Purchase Order:-
Firstly we will set up a new company and received a window from the tab of this window we will select the option of Tasks:


 
After selecting the option of tasks we will received many options and we will select the option of purchase Order:

We will clicking in Purchase order than that window will appear:


In this window we will enter the information about purchases. Firstly we will put Vendor Id in this window:

By Selecting vendor id the Name in automatically written in Ship To in that window:

Now we will put Date, Good through Date and PO No. in this place of that window which is display:

After that we will put the Customer Invoice No. in this place:

Now at last we will put the Quantity, Item, Description, GL Account, Unit Price and Amount in this window:

The purchase order will prepare.
